About FitAndFill

FitAndFill publishes free calculators for common U.S. home projects, with the math and sources shown.

Why this site exists

Online calculators often give a number and nothing else. Here you can see how each result is worked out, what it assumes and where the underlying figures come from, so you can judge whether it fits your project.

Who runs it

Kevin, Peru.

I'm Kevin, a systems engineering student in Peru. I built FitAndFill because I like turning everyday measuring problems into simple, tested tools. Every calculator shows its formula, a worked example and its sources, and I re-check the figures when manufacturers update them. I'm not a licensed contractor, so please treat the results as planning estimates and follow your product labels and local building rules.

What we are not

We are not licensed contractors, engineers or building inspectors. Results are estimates for planning and shopping. For structural work, permits or safety questions, talk to a qualified professional and your local building department.
